                                          Catholicism

Over the years many people have asked for a program to help them understand and appreciate their faith better. This year we are going to offer a multi-part series called 'Catholicism', starting during the weeks of Lent. Each session has a 45-minute video about Jesus, God, our spirituality, and the church, followed by 45 minutes of discussion and questions.

Fr. Robert Barron is an author, speaker, and theologian. He is also the creator and host of this 10-part series -- 'Catholicism'. His team traveled all over the world to develop a better understanding of the Catholic Church, the Catholic Christianity that we profess.

'Catholicism' talks about Jesus, His teachings, God, the Church, the Sacraments, the liturgy, and Catholic belief.  We will not show the series ten weeks in a row, but will do it in sections, starting with the weeks of Lent.  Then later we will show another series of videos.

It is really well done! You will like it! Plan to participate!
We plan to host this exciting event at the Maryknoll office on Street 320, near Toul Sleng. To help us get an idea of how many people will attend, please do one of two things:
1. At mass on the next two weekends, please fill out the form that indicates you will attend and
all of the days of the week which are possible for you.  There are four choices for days of the week.

       ________ Saturday afternoon
       ________ Sunday afternoon
       ________ Tuesday evening
       ________ Friday  evening

Please put a "1" by your first choice, a "2" by your second choice, a "3" by your third choice, etc..  Put a "0" by a day if that day is not possible for you.

2. If you prefer to answer online, please hit Reply to this newsletter e-mail and list the days that are possible for you, in the order that you prefer.  If you answer online, please indicate how many members of your family or household will attend.

Confirmation

Because members of our community move and are transferred so much, it happens that some reach adulthood and have never been confirmed. The Sacrament of Confirmation is an important part of our spiritual development. If you have not been confirmed and would like to receive the sacrament on May 3rd with Bishop Olivier, please call the church phone at (012) 418-802

Korean Bazaar

The Korean Catholic Community in Cambodia host a bazaar on Sunday, 23 February, 9 AM to 3 PM at St Joseph (Phsar Tauch) Catholic Church on  National Road #5.  Because of the bazaar, NO cars will be allowed inside the church grounds on Sunday.  Please travel by tuk-tuk or plan to park at the primary school on the small road next to the church grounds.

Christian Life Seminar

The Couples for Christ-FFL group is sponsoring a Christian Life Seminar on five Sundays starting on March 2nd. The sessions will be at the Washington School at #2 Street J in the Sovana Complex at 1:30 PM. It is for any adults who wish to deepen their relationship with God.
